Corridor cricket isn't vastly sweeping the country, it's not going to take over the popularity of 20/20 matches. It's scoring is random and rules silly but it was the best we had.

You will need...  a batsman and bat
                             a bowler and a ball
a bin bag full of old clothes
a long corridor where 4 specific
                                  areas can be identified
optional... fielders.

As you can see from the diagram it is quite difficult for fielders to really participate, however someone is always needed to get the ball back to the bowler.

you can only score in fours and sixes as only one man is in at any time.

you can be caught or bowled.
