I'm such a lame ass. I ignore this website TOO much. SO i am going to try my hardest to keep updating and actually get back into not just yelling at the cricket from my bed/chair but actually making intellectual comments and a wee bit of fan girling (of course)

So, we just beat India in the third ODI and we've got another 100 one dayers to play i think (oh yes, i am angry about that).

As for my ambassadorial skills I managed to get three (unamed) females into playing cricket and I am working on another who might start watching it!

Come on girls! Get watching!

People who applauded the Yorkie "they're not for girls" campaign will agree with Cricket, "it's not for girls,"

Well, I'm sorry but... 11 young men in white trousers, running round in hot weather and rubbing the ball on their thighs.... Does that sound appropriate for a strictly male audience to you?

I'm not saying it isn't a great sport, it is complex and it helps if you are wacthing it with someone who knows the rules and you can ask for help... but you could just sit back relax and watch the lads play.
